Do I have a super-soaker?

And no I dont mean the favorite childhood toy.

Excuse my silly question but humor me. I change DS w/ every feeding. No longer than 2 1/2 (maybe three or 4 at night) hours. And he is ALWAYS soaked. Completely soaked. I have heard so much about microfiber stink that I stayed away from pockets and microfiber so most of my stash is BG Organics, Prefolds, and natural fibers.

BUT I have started using a few BG pockets at night (double stuffed with microfiber) because I dont want to wake him up completely by doing a diaper change (he hates them). I like that I can double stuff them. I have also used a Goodmama and a B4 and within 3 hours they are completely soaked. Literally everything I have put on his is completely soaked within 2-3 hours, even the diapers that most people use for "night time." (B4's, GM's, Double-stuffed BG's, even a Rumparooz w/ an AFFF insert underneath a microfiber insert).

So my question is this. Do newborns (6 week olds) just pee a lot more, and does it taper off as they get older? Because when he is sleeping for longer stretches (the longest I get now is 4 hours) I cant imagine what diaper I will be able to use if a GM or B4 isnt cutting it now.

Hopefully that wasnt too rambling.
