I'm telling them when I'm around 12 weeks. 

I can't do anything sappy. It's just not me. They'd also think I've lost my ever loving mind.  I'm usually a very sarcastic person with and around them.

I've found some cute shirts I've thought about getting and just showing up to practice in that.

other thoughts?  or cute shirts you can think of?

 

I did think about just showing up in Aug and saying surprise!! ;-)

This is what I would do.  When do you have camp?  You could surprise them then.  You would have to tell your seniors before then.  

 I told my kids with a warm up. I taught Language Arts and the kids had to do a warm up.  How do you start class?  You could have them choreography a dance to some music about having a baby.  Would they catch that?

Get some pics of outfits for next year to show them... and photoshop your head onto a pg body and slip it in the pics.

I wore a tshirt to a party that said "does this baby make me look fat?" It was hysterical watching everyone read it (you know how people try to be subtle when they read a shirt...) and then try to process the message.

My DH found a shirt at Spencers that said 'I'm not fat, I'm knocked up!' and wanted to buy it for me sooooo badly. I wouldn't let him.

 

Personally, I'd just show up in August with a bump.

I like V's tshirt idea. I wouldn't just show up in August since you run the risk of some of your students seeing you around town and the rumor mill spreading. Takes the fun out of the announcement.
