I actually like some meditation/relaxation cd's. They seem to help you forget about everything going through your head.
I recently got a yoga dvd - it's a little hard right now - but it helps you just slow down and remember to breathe!
And my dr told me the same thing too - I thought it was ironic, but he believes that treatments work better if you are relaxed. I spent alot of time taking naps and watching funny movies too.
Acupuncture, and a good playlist on my ipod. Hugs from DH. Crawling into bed, but only for 20 minutes. Hope you have a good weekend!
TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR
2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love!
Isn't it ironic how we are trying to 'just relax' so we can get pg?
Exercise: yoga or going for a walk. Walking is only good if you can think about something else while you're walking.
Watch funny movies or read a good book.
If there is a specific non-IF thing causing you stress, come up with a plan for dealing with it. You don't have to deal with it right away. For me, knowing that I have a plan is very comforting.
