My Last Day

Today is my last day of student teaching. I have a lot of mixed feelings. I am very excited to be done, however, I have had a great experience so it is hard knowing that I won't see the people I work with and the students anymore. Anyway it is a professional development day today so the students get out early, and my mentor teacher hinted that they are going to make a big deal out of it being my last day. I HATE BEING THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. So while that makes me feel honored that they want to, I am dreading it a little.

 

P.S. One of my male students just came up and put his hand on my belly and told me that he had never felt one before. Haha. Awkward. Gotta love junior boys.

    ^^ Wow, that is awkward!! LOL!!!

    Just enjoy today as much as you can.  You only live once and these moments are special.
