It rocked the HOUSE. I got to see the baby in 4d. They do the NT measurement to make sure that its below 3mm. Anything above 3mm is a possible indication for downs syndrome. They also take blood for the trisomy testing-- to rule out chromosomal problems.
It was really cool seeing the baby in 4d rather than the 2d black and white.
I didn't because I knew DH and I would continue with the pregnancy no matter what was found. However, I might consider doing it next time because knowledge is power. I think that if there was something wrong it would give us more time to prepare.
We did! It was super cool. I loved being able to see Baby Love and it eliminated any concerns. I don't think we would have ended our pregnancy if something were wrong, but it would have allowed us more time to learn and deal.
