I did it (FB post)

I was nervous to make a NIAW post because I was afraid of insensitive comments. (I have been pretty open about IF with friends, just not on facebook). Anyway, several of my friends reposted. I was very touched! And thus far, no insensitive or unwelcome comments.

On a sidenote, the second RE that I wanted to see was able to get me in next Friday...so, I will meet with two REs and go from there. For any Chi-town girls, I am meeting with Dr. Confino (Northwestern) and Dr. Kaplan (FCI).

Happy Friday, Lovelies!

  • Good for you!  I did it too, and I'm not really outted yet.  But I figured if someone got too nosey-, I'd just ignore them and refer to the part of the post that says 'if you or someone you know is affect w/ IF"...

But, I just got support!  Nothing bad.

Good luck w/ your consults and let us know how it goes.  I'm about an hr from Chicago-

I know a lot of gals on this board have used both of the REs you mentioned, and everyone seems to like them both.

  • I go to NW and I see Dr. Kazer.  Though Dr. Confino did my first transfer and he was great.  I really love NW and love the people there.  I can't say enough good things about them.

I have heard good things about Dr. Kaplan at FCI as well.

Sounds like both REs would be great!  Good luck deciding!
