Am I crazy?

to think I can take Cooper w/ me to the eye doctor?  I made an appt for this Saturday, and now DH has to work. It's at 10am so Cooper will most likely be napping.  I really need new contacts, but I'm just having visions of trying to do the whole long process of "Option 1 or Option 2?  Option 2 or Option 3?" while he screams at me from the stroller.

Maybe go into the office a little earlier than your appt so you have time to calm him down and get him to be asleep in the stroller?

Or put him down for a nap and have a friend or neighbor come over and sit with him while you're gone?

Will he stay asleep in his car seat? If so, I think you should be fine but my first was a pretty heavy sleeper at that age so I could bring him anywhere and he would sleep through it.

That's what I'm hoping, if he's asleep in the carseat when we get there then he should (hopefully) stay asleep.   I was going to ask MIL to watch him, but realized she'll be in Austin.

I know there's no way I could get away with that, but you may be luckier...

Having had to take C with me to a doctor's appointment last month, I learned I won't attempt anything like that again soon!  And back before he arrived, silly DH thought I'd be able to take him along to go to the dentist!

I did take him with me, he didn't stay asleep but he was very good and didn't fuss.
