We got fios back in November. I have bill pay through bank of america and my verizon bill just pops up in the corner. I click pay and thats it.  Well today I got a bill from Verizon emailed to me and I decided to look at it.  Turns out I have been paying for direct tv and FIOS tv for 5 months.  that is $280 I didn't need to spend.  DH is going to be so mad at me.  I know it's my fault for not looking at my bill closer. I'm jsut so mad b/c the guy that came to our house told us we didn't have to cancel anything that verizon will take care out it since we had a bundled pkg.  No wonder my bill was so high.

Can you call the company and tell them that you just realized the mistake.  Reference that they uninstalled the direct tv on such-and-such date, so since you obviously haven't had the service, could they refund your money.

um, if verizon said they would take care of it, and you didn't have to cancel anything then I would be making them pay for the directv service.

I would call them.  I bet you they will apply the credit you have been paying and the next couple bills should be free!
