OK, DD is still in the crib we originally purchased, not a Graco. But since LO is on her way we bought a crib from a friend. I have no idea what kind of crib this is! Could be Graco, but might not. It is at IL's house in storage since we haven't even started on K's big girl room yet. Do I need to send DH over there to check it out and is there a barcode or stamp on it anywhere that gives make or model? (Sounds like I'm talking about a car!)
TIA!!
Re: Question about crib recall..
Hello,
I posted some info about this yesterday. Here is some more info.
The link with the model numbers is here: https://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10212.html
The production date, item number, purchase order number and finish name is printed on a label affixed to the footboard or headboard. "LaJobi" and the crib model name are printed on a product sticker located on the stabilizer bar or bottom rail of the crib.
As far as I know, most Graco drop side cribs are affected. They will send a repair kit, HOWEVER it will render the drop side useless. We are returning ours since I am short and will not be able to reach in and get the baby. So disappointed. We are now frantically trying to find another safe yet inexpensive crib.
Some Simplicity brand cribs were also recalled. Here is the info:

Hope this helps!!!
Thanks!! I haven't really even looked at the bed we bought from our friends. DH just picked up and put at his parent's house.
After reading your post yesterday I was like, wait a minute, our crib could be part of this and I have no idea. I am going to send him over there tomorrow to look for a label.
Good luck on your crib search. And thanks for all your help.
