AF again...5 days after my last AF! wtf?

what is my body doing?!

I am on Day 14 of my cycle. I got AF on April 16th and it lasted almost 6 days, then 2 days ago started spotting, and now I have another full AF.

I just came off Desogen BCP on April 10, so was my first AF a chemical reaction, and now this is my actual hormones kicking in? I was supposed to start Clomid, but we held off this month due to possible insurance changes.I have a call into my Dr. to get his insight.

 Any 3T insight is appreciated!

I had this same issue when I stopped BCPs last year.  It can take a while for your body to regulate itself. 

My dr. prescribed Provera to make me have a true cycle, then I started Clomid the next month.  Since then I've had regular cycles of 27 - 30 days.

it must be a BCP thing. I was only on for 1 month to decrease a cyst/lining. didn't think it would mess me up like this!

When did you ovulate?  Your first AF was a withdrawal bleed, this one sounds like a "real" AF.

I just had that happen to me too (though I haven't been on BCP's for 17 months now) ... my last cycle was 137 days long and was ended with provera (and all my prior cycles were also 60+ days and ended with provera) and then I randomly got AF again all on her own on CD 16.

I have PCOS though, and I guess that is normal, even though it had never happened to me before.

I have PCOS too, so I am irregular, but never had this happen before. I don't think I've ovulated yet as my OPK hasn't been + and no CM. I've been paper charting, but not on FF yet...

The RE office called " we don't really know why this is happening, but you should be ok." Seriously. I get better answers from bumpies then my nurse.

If you have PCOS, OPKs may not always be effective.  They never have been for me.
