start to reply to a post and then change your mind?

For me, its all the time.  I can be very sarcastic and sometimes, sarcasm doesn't come off as such when posted on a message board.

And...sometimes I don't think my words are enough to make someone feel better or that my advice is even good.

Most often I have to edit myself when it's a first time mom...not here, but other boards,  and they are just being crazy paranoid about something or when they ask a question that's been asked a bajillion times before.  I think when you come to a new message board you should take a few days and get a feel of things and see how the board flows.
