LO is ff (Enfamil Lipil Premium), and she has been really gassy lately. I have been giving her gas drops after every feeding for weeks now. I use Playtex drop-ins (which most people say help with gas), and I try to burp her after every 2 oz she eats. For the last few days, she has been really fussy. I took her to the dr thinking she might have an ear infection, but the doctor said she is colicy (spelling?) from the gas. She suggested I use the Enfamil Gentlease formula for a few days to see if it helps. Anyone else use this? Does it seem to help? LO has only had one bottle of it so far, and she is sleeping now. TIA!

Oh, I really hope things continue to go well for you! I was a little hesitant about switching because the Gentlease doesn't have the prebiotics in it like the Lipil Premium does. I mentioned this to the pedi, though, and she said that once I start rice cereal (she said I could at 3 1/2 months), I can choose one that has prebiotics (or prObiotics, I don't know the difference)...
When LO was 3 weeks old I noticed that Lipil Premium was making him gassy and fussy, so we switched to Gentlease and have been on it ever since. We noticed a difference in a matter of a day or two. He still occassionally has gassy moments, but nothing like before the switch.
Hope it works for you too.
THIS EXACTLY!!! I love the gentle ease and have noticed a big difference..
