First ear infection..seems so early. =(

We took Ally to the Dr today because her cough was really bad and she has a severe ear infection in one ear where it's like bulging.  Emmy didn't get sick until she was 9 months old.  So now she's on a very high dose of antibiotics...it just seems so soon and she's just a little baby. =(

Ella has already had a minor ear infection and lots of congestion.  You just feel so bad for them when they are so so young.  I hope Ally gets better soon.

I'm so sorry!  Abbie got her 1st when she was about 2 months old.  You just feel so bad for them.  I hope she feels better soon! =(

You can take this with a grain of salt, but my chiropractor said that majority of ear infections that happen before the age of 2 are really caused by teething.  

 Something to ponder if she is teething right now.

I'm so sorry. Ally is such a cutie! It is no fun to think of LOs dealing with illness at such a young age or at all for that matter. 

We took Evan to the pedi because I thought he might have an ear infection since we has pulling at his ears and crying. Turns out that the reflux is bothering his ears.

What were the symptoms?  G has been coughing, sneezing and has green mucus (sp?).  I haven't noticed him tugging at his ears though.

Well...I bought her in because she was coughing and I just felt bad for her because she's so little and coughing. (it's not even that often that she coughs...maybe like every hour?)  But she's congested...no fever. 

The first thing that the pedi always does is check the ears, and sure enough...it was a pretty bad ear infection on her left.  She checked the lungs and they were clear and so I'm relieved about that.
