stupid pio ?

So I picked up my meds for FET today...and I think something isn't right but I'm not sure what. I dropped off 4 prescription slips, 1 for estrace, 1 for pio, and 2 for syringes (I think). I didn't look at them very closely. When I picked them up they had estrace, pio and only 1 order of syringes.The pharmacist claimed the two prescriptions were for the same size syringes so they just combined them into one.  Isn't PIO one that you pull the pio out of the vial with one syringe and inject it with a different size? Or am I crazy in remembering that. Of course the drs. office was closed by the time this all transpired so I couldn't call them.

I use one syringe but 2 different sized needles.  I pull it out with one needle and change only the needle.  Not sure if that helps you out.  Do you have different sized needles?

something like this just happened to me on Tuesday.  I needed more      22G 1 1/2 needles not the syringes.  And when I called to order them I specifically told the lady that I need the needles and not the syringe.  Well of course they sent me the wrong ones and sent me the 3ml 22G 1 1/2 syringe.  So I called back and they overnighted the needles.

When do you start PIO?  Call your pharmacy tomorrow and let them know the mixup.  It should be an easy fix.

I'm the oddball so far... I used the same size needle to draw up and to inject PIO - 3mL 22g 1 1/2in.

Thanks girls--so I wasn't crazy in thinking I needed different needles--the pharmacy tech made me feel stupid-she has done IVF before and told me I was completely wrong in needing different needles. I will call my RE tomorrow morning and get it straightened out-I don't need it for a while, but wanted to get it filled just in case of something like this....
