Your baby is way too young to cry it out. DD just now moved to eating every 3 hours. It's perfectly normal to eat as often as your LO currently is. I wouldn't worry at all and keep feeding when your LO is hungry!
Hi, I know how frustrating it can be for both of you. I do agree with pps that at this age you should be feeding on the demand eventhough you think its seems excessive. Your baby will give you cues if he is being overfeed, like spitting up a lot of milk.
I went through the same exact thing. My LO was pretty much stuck to my breast 24/7. I'll take a break here and there by giving her a bottle. But for the most part, I made sure I have a comfortable place to nurse, lots of water and snacks handy and just be there when its time for my LO to eat again.
Hang in there. Just remember that this is only temporaby.
I hate to be a snark, but you do realize that CIO is supposed to be used in conjunction with sleep training, right? And at a much older age...atleast 4 months. Like a pp said, it's breaking your heart to her him cry because your momma instinct is telling you to do something. Please listen to that instinct.
