This is a follow-up to yesterday's post.  I had to give him 1/2 a bottle at his 1 PM feeding and a full bottle at the 4 PM.  Trying not to cry.

Aww, I'm sorry.  If it's teething he could be back into nursing within a few days/weeks.  If he's just done, well, I don't know.  Have you thought about renting a baby scale to see how much he's actually getting when he only nurses for a few minutes? 

Just keep offering the breast as much as you can.  Hang in there!

I totally forgot about the baby scales.  I'll check into that.  Good idea!  This is just so frustrating.  I'm not ready.  But as with so many things re: kids ... they rarely ask for your input.

I was going to suggest a lactation consultant because they will weigh baby before and after nursing so you can see how much he ate.  It might be more than you think.
