I may be motivated to learn. Today I discovered an alpaca farm not 5 miles from my house. They have a retail shop that is open on weekends.

I've been sewing since I was 6. A dress takes me maybe half an hour to knock out. And how much work goes into a baby hat? :-)

Oh, I fully intend to check out prices. I told the owner about Ravelry-- they had never heard of it, and I suggested that he might want to make a small investment in ads on there.

All of the alpacas got a haircut last weekend and look soooo cute. He also has angora goats (read: cashmere) and a CAMEL!!! DS thought it was hilarious to see a camel on a farm.
