We were invited to a party for a preschool classmate and the mom was so excited about the invitations. They are very professional looking, but umm...there are three typos. I feel so bad for her.
Sounds like me. I was so excited until a family friend called to tell me that I wrote Saturday April 18th. So, which is it? Saturday or Sunday the 18th?
I let everyone know the right date except the guy bringing the bounce house. Oops!
*raising hand* I made my nephew's totally awesome birthday invites and was super excited about them until someone pointed out to me that I had down 2009 instead of 2010...
I had a family member recently do fairly expensive christmas cards and there were two typos. I thought it was funny because she tried to correct one by writing in the missing letter and I probably wouldn't have noticed either if she hadn't done that ;-) (plus we don't get along)
and OMG I just noticed a fourth....there's a word capitalized that shouldn't be
Oh dear... this woman clearly needs someone else to proof her work (or the person typesetting her card sucks - lol!) I'm afraid if you keep looking you're going to find more!
I just got mine done and made sure there werent any errors. I made my mom, sister and dh all proof it. There was one on the original (put the wrong RSVP month) but that was all.
I was so worried the wrong date was on it. I kept checking my calendar and the invite before I purchased and printed them.
Poor lady. We moms get so worked up and excited about these things. If I were to find 4 typos on mine after they were printed/mailed I would be so upset.

Poor thing! One error I get - it's easy to make a mistake, but three?!
What type of errors (it's like a train wreck... just have to *look/ask*)

1. omission of the word "of"
2. using then instead of than
3. omission of the word "a"
