2nd Trimester

I just unhooked my bra

I am in desperate need of new bras again (I already bought new ones around 11-12 weeks).  My current bras hurt so bad so, I just shut my office door and unhooked my bra.  It was like instant relief!

Now, I just need to remember to hook it back before I get up to go pee so the girls don't flop around everywhere.

  • I bought bra extenders yesterday and I feel SO MUCH BETTER now.
  • At the end of my pregnancy last time I started wearing sports bras.  To hell with bras was my moto.

Since I'm at home a majority of the day now, I don't bother.  Emerson doesn't care.

  • I had to splurge a few weeks back I had the muffin top boob syndrome going.  They were just spilling out from the top it was horrible.

I do sports bras as soon as I get home.  They are by far the most comfortable option - going without anything isn't pleasant b/c they are so big right now (for me) and just get in the way when not contained.

  • I did this yesterday at home and then I was reading on here about the Baskin Robbins deal and got up and left to go there and got home and realized it was unhooked the entire time...embarrassing!

  • sounds like heaven!!

around 20-ish wks I bought new bras and decided to get the nursing ones that dont have a hook in back they just are stretchy figuring they would be more comfy and stretch as I grew....well, not bad for awhile but now it is annoying because I cant unhook them for a bit of relief when super uncomfy, there isnt a hook, I have to wait until I can completely take it off, so that sort of backfired......also, sometimes it feels so tight all day that when I take it off I feel like it is still on, sort of like that hat head feeling......ok point is, I need more bras with hooks!!

  • I just bought a few new bras 2 weeks ago and they are heaven! Only thing was realizing that I was now a D cup!!!! I hope they don't grow too much more b/c I'm having a hard time adjusting to these bad boys.
  • Yo, I feel your pain!

Ok.  I bought a few sports bras...I think they are the Champion brand you can get at Target - they are the 'wicking' fabric?

Far more comfortable than bras right now - especially since the boobs are not as large as they will get.

    I'm not in a C cup bra yet, though...but I started out as a 36A.

  • Girl I know the feeling!  Unfortunately, I am a teacher, so unhooking is not an option!
