HSG Question

What cycle day do you normally get an HSG?  I think I was told my practice does it on day 5, but I was wondering if this is flexible. 

It's not like I ovulate on my own anway, so does it really matter?

    When I had mine, it needed to be scheduled between day 5-12.

    Hmm..I *think* I had to have mine done between CD5-9 or something like that.

     

    TTC #1 since June 2008 *SAIFW*

    TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs

    I think I was told something like day 8-11.
    FET to TTC #2: 9/29/14 Beta on 10/8/14 = BFP!
    DS #1 Born 1/3/11 after IVF #1
    4 failed IUIs, including 1 CP
    PCOS
    TTC since 2008

    mine was scheduled day 5-9, the drs office just scheduled mine and told me what day to be there!
    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF). July 2011 - consult for IVF. Sept 2011, 1st IVF. Got our BFP on 10/2/11. Became a mom on 5/5/12 to a beautiful baby boy! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers

    My RE usually does days 5-9, but I had mine on day 10.

    I think mine had to be between 8-10.

    They wanted to do it after I stopped bleeding but before ovulation.

    My RE was somewhat flexible but they wanted to be after my period ended but before day 10 to ensure it was before any (possible) ovulation.
    TTC since August 2008 4 cycles Femara = BFN Dx PCOS February 2010, 1000 mg Metformin XR IUI #1: Dexamethasone + Femara + Ovidrel + Progesterone = BFN IUI #2: Dexamethasone + Femara + Ovidrel + Progesterone = BFP! Our son arrived January 17, 2011!

    Mine was between day 5 - 10.  I ended up there on day 10 and my RE wasn't to happy it was so late into the cycle.  Which I found odd, but whatever.
