DD finally decided she'd like to hold her baby brother!

How cute- she needed a little time to warm up!  Was she excited to hold him before he was actually born?  I ask because my boys talk all the time about how they are going to hold baby Ryan and they fight over who gets to hold the "Baby Ryan" doll that we have.  They even put the doll in the crib at night and check on him in the morning  We'll see what they think of the real thing!

She never talked about holding him before he came.  When she came to visit me in the hospital she'd say that she was "too little" or he was "too heavy" (he was almost 10 lbs. LOL), and I didn't want to push anything on her.

She interracted with him in many other ways, so it wasn't like she didn't like him.

I had to clean up the breakfast dishes this morning and Leif was awake and wanting to be held so I asked if she'd like to sit on the couch and hold him and she said "yes!:
