Okay, so our infant carrier expires in December and has been used thoroughly for both girls since 2006. I do not want to sell it as really, what's the $5 gonna do for me?! And I cannot give it to a thrift store since they don't take used car seats.
Any other options other than just chucking it? That seems so wasteful for some reason, even though, like I said, it expires in December and it's been used for 2 babies...
Re: Expiring car seats... chuck it?
Maybe check with a women's shelter? The one near me always needs baby stuff.
LOL, Belle... I was half hoping Gibs was here to chastise me.
What I find really odd, is that the State of CA does not have a recycling program for car seats like some other states have. If I was inclined and at all Erin Brokovich-ish, I would try and wage a campaign to start one.......
