I did but only after DH's friends wife told him about it and subsequently guilted him into it. He had no idea a push present existed before she asked what he got me. I told him our DC were my push present. He gave me a ring with two tiny (very tiny) diamonds, which I love.

I hinted, but got nothing. But he was right there by my side through the whole thing feeding me ice and re-cooling the cloth on my face, holding my hand and watching his son be born. I think that the support is gift enough from him.
Nope, no push present, but the fact that he was so impressed with how tough I was through L&D was present enough for me. Aside from my son, of course. That's the best present ever.
Uh no...We got a baby out of the whole deal...present enough! I did buy myself a necklace during maternity leave though for myself from thevintagepearl.com with LO's name on it.
I was reading a post when in the 3rd tri about this and DH saw... so he got me a Wii and Wii Fit, which because I was taking 8 weeks off work unpaid didn't think we should be spending 300 dollars on. So I made him return it. It was a nice thought, but just not at the time...

i didnt get a darn thing either...but i was excited at how impressed he was with me..i labored at home for 5 hrs then drove an hr and had to wait another hr to be admitted in, refused the epi when an anestisiologist came in with out me sending for her yet but called her back about 2 hrs later ( the on call dr was even impressed when he broke my water, it was all very fast due to the heart rate dropping, he then asked when was your epi isaid oh i havent had the yet...he was like oh wow ok, you didnt make a peep i thought u had had one ) he usually thinks im pretty weak or have a very low tolerance to pain, which i do compared to him but that i blew him away with ))
To my shock, I got one (topaz earrings - baby's birthstone). I had never said the word push present to him -- I am sure he didn't know what one was
He went out and bought them the day after the baby was born. I think the 22 hours of extreme pain had something to do with it..... (lets just say my induction went completely sideways). He said they were from the baby as a thank you for what I endured.

Neither H nor I had heard of a push present before I read it on here during 3rd tri (I'm the first of my friends to have a baby). So I hinted about it but we ultimately decided that Bugaboo was gift enough. Oh and I got a Diet Coke after delivery so that was a fantastic gift!
I totally wasn't expecting it but I got a beautiful card from DH saying something to the effect of how I gave him the best gift ever. I also got a pair of earrings with DS's birth stone.
I got flowers and DH let me get the more expensive newborn photographer that I wanted. My birthday was right after that and I got diamond earrings and a "Mom" diamond necklace with her birthstone. More jewelry at the birth would have been overkill and DH has never heard of a push present.
DH gets me gifts and flowers all the time, not because I require them but because he loves me and thinks they will make me happy. To me it's no different than getting a "gift" any other day.
I got chinese food (because I craved it all pregnancy and since we were preparing for me to be a SAHM that was not in the budget, I told him that's what I wanted the day she's born)

I never got around to buying a diaper bag before DD was born. When she was born he special ordered me the Vera Bradley diaper bag that I loved in my favorite pattern.
I wouldn't call it a push present because my H does really sweet and thoughtful things for me and just surprises me at random times.
Neither of us had heard about "push presents" until a prenatal yoga class I was in that SOs attended. When he heard about that, he said "I want a pull present!" But no, no presents other than our sweet baby boy
I got to cut the umbilical cord while the nurses tended to my pale and light headed husband. Does that count?
I didn't get a kiss or even a "she's so beautiful, you did great." He hit the chair like a ton of bricks and I think it took him a good 15 minutes to get a grasp of reality.
Re: dear Bump, no i did not get a "push present"
Me too......BUT DD got a flower from her daddy!
you just made me laugh....
I gave DH a gift! Ha!

Plus he gave me the most beautiful baby boy.
Lol. Me too! And even some juice!

This! I think PPs are a very vain idea.

YOur Siggy pic is AWSOME!
I got taco bell & Starbucks after DS was born, it was greatly appriciated after not eating for 24hrs.
I am getting a necklace after the girls are born with all 6kids birthstones on it
