strange flu questions

How quickly do you think you would come down with the flu after being in contact with someone with it?  Would taking pepto keep you from throwing up if you get the stomach flu?   I am leaving for las Vegas tomorrow morning and was just by my cousins yesterday whose mom is sick with the stomach flu. I didn't see her but I gave the kids dinner at my house and one of the kids had the same flu over the weekend.  What do you think my chances are that I am going to get it?
