Brunch menu?

We're having friends over for brunch on Sunday. Any suggestions for favorite things that can easily be prepared ahead of time? FWIW, they're vegetarian and have two kids so we'll need some things that are more kid-friendly.

I was thinking of a hashbrown casserole, yogurt, fruit, and mimosas. What else would round out the menu?

bagels or some other bread-ish thing - muffins/scones, etc.

Ina Garten has some fabulous recipes for brunch food like fresh yogurt, scones, muffins, etc. You might want to check out her recipes at foodnetwork.com. If you have yogurt, a homemade granola would be really nice.

bagels, cream cheese (do they eat dairy, if not tofuti makes a good cream cheese), sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, fruit salad, egg salad (if they eat eggs), some kind of vegetarian warm dish like broccoli quiche or hashbrown casserole.  I think bagels and fruit are fine for kids.
