Should I be seeing an RE?

This might be a dumb question, but should I be seeing or at least have a relationship with an RE at this point?  I have done all my initial testing through my OB and my b/w, ultrasound, HSG came out clear.  DH has MFI and has his urologist appt on May 13th. 

I guess I just feel like an RE would be a good 2nd opinion from the urologist and also I have read many post about MFI which stated even with a varicocele many urologists don't think that will impact sperm count (DH's count was 3.1/4.3 on his 2 SAs ) that much so don't even recommend going through with it.

Or should I just be a good girl and be patient and wait and see what the urologist says?

I would see an RE just to get another opinion.  If you are dealing with MFI then you may possibly need assistance for reproduction.  It cant hurt to see one.

Thanks, that's what I thought....it's just nice to have validation sometimes I guess.

Yes!  RE's are very knowledgeable, and you'll be glad you decided to see one.

I agree, you should see one. Be prepared to re-do all your testing though, from what I've heard (not experienced first-hand) they like having their own test results from their own labs. Good Luck!
