Hi ladies! I hope you've all had a great week and were able to squeeze in a bit of exercise. Or at least tried to eat healthy. I did good this week. I've been able to stick to my diet ( I did have one cheat day, but didn't go crazy) and Ive worked out everyday this week. My weight however has stayed the same from last week. I'm ok with it, at least it didn't go up. I talked to my sister who was a runner and ran marathons(before she had her baby in dec) and she said it can take up to 9 weeks before you see results. And then you really start to see your hard work has paid off. So I'm on week 3 now. I just gotta keep going. Ok ladies, how did you do this week?

    I did start some leg lifts though!  My abs are killing me!

  • I didn't do so great this week :(  We've had crappy weather so I haven't gotten out much and I cheated...a lot!

  • This post made me giggle a lot!  "Operation MILF"  hehehehe.  Ok when ever I get my butt in gear and actualy do something about my over weight butt and my foopa, then I'm so joining this!  Maybe I should step on the scale..that should get my butt in gear!

  • I decided to make last week's weight my starting weight since it's a new scale.  I'm happy to say I'm down 1.8lbs this week!!!  Yay!  My short-term goal is to lose 7 more, my long term is 12.  I think it's hardest to lose weight when it's only 10 or 15lbs, so losing 1.8 is a big victory IMO.

    I've really been watching my diet, and I did exercise a bunch last week.  I haven't been to the gym since Sunday though due to this awful hacking cough I have, I'm hoping to get back in over the weekend thouh.

But I wasn't able to exercise as DS has been very cranky lately and I have not been eating good...indulging too much in chocolate this week :(  But I was able to fit into 2 pairs of my larger pre preg dress pants this week to work...they are more snug than I would like, but it is a start!

    Also-would you girls be interested in doing a daily food accountability post?  I think it would help me keep on track and not eat so much junk if I knew I had to report what I ate to you guys. Like we could post our food from the previous day? Any takers?

    Sure! Not only can we encourage eachother, it'd be a great way to share healthy recipes.

  • I can't weigh myself... the wii fit is my scale and we can't find our wiimote anywhere!!!

    I'm guessing that I didn't lose anything though.  Not only has the weather been crappy this week, but DS has been a major fussy butt (I'm hoping it's teething).  My exercise consisted of pushing the grocery cart through all the aisles even though I only needed to go down 4 of them haha.

  • I lost 1.5 lbs this week.  I also bought a new pair of pants (the my belly spills over, but i think after i lose another 5 lbs they'll look awesome) and 3 really cute shirts.  I even put makeup on 4 days this week (vast improvement from the absolutely no make up before). Also I posted a message earlier this week about a health website called sparkpeople.com where you can look up foods you've eaten through the day and log them and it keeps track of the cals, fat, etc for you.  They also have a website called sparkrecipes where you can enter a recipe and it adds all the nutritional stuff for you so you don't have to try to calculate it yourself.  Another bumpie posted that there is another version of this website that calculates cals. and fat for if you are BFing.
