"Wow, I really don't know how you do this!"

My friend was baby sitting for me yesterday while I took a final. I went to pick up LO and she looks at me with these big eyes and was like "Wow, I really don't know how you do this! I tried doing laundry and Ri didn't want to be put down so I held her, and I just couldn't do the two things at once. HOW THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS AND GOING TO SCHOOL?!?!?!" I just laughed. I guess it's something that comes along with being a Mommy? You kind of learn how to do things with a "baby on your hip".

However, I can tell you, my stress level is to the point I've had two breakdowns in the last three days. I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I try to push through it, but then I see the mound of laundry, or the pile of dishes, or the amount of papers/tests that I need to complete and pushing through it no longer seems like an option. I've begged DH to let me quit numerous times over the last few months. Maybe taking a full course load with an infant wasn't such a good idea. But in 6 weeks I will be done with coursework. So all the struggling and all the pain and all the frustration will finally be worth it.

I am so excited for August. Once I graduate, and between looking for a job, I hope to actually be able to enjoy being a Mommy. Spending time with LO without the stress of school on my shoulders too is going to be the most amazing experience EVER.

I know how you feel! I'm a law student and i'm about to go through my finals...I feel like i'm spread so thin right now...I don't know what I would do w/o DH and A TON of planning ahead (i used to be a total last minute studier)...Its worth it though hun!!! You'll rock those exams w/ a baby on your hip, thats how we mamas roll

Unfortunately, with DH's schedule, it's mostly just me. I don't know how those single mommies do it, but they've got stones to be able to. And law? Congrats on that... that's definately not an easy one!

Yeah its been kicking my butt lately....hopefully this semester will turn out well though. I just can't wait until the 11th...then its just going to be family time for a while!!!!! What are you studying?

We're done on the 7th. Then I have an intense 3 week course and finishing up my internship.

I'll finally be getting my BS in Psychology (I took 5 years off to figure my life out). I'm thinking about looking into a Business Masters, though. I love psych, but I realized I love business. I used to run a restaurant, and I miss the techinical stuff that came along with it. I just didn't want to change my major again with only a semester and half left.

Sooo lucky you'll be done in August. I would have been too if I stayed in PA school. Now I'm looking to graduate with an AAS in Dec 2011, and then with a BSN hopefully two years later. Should I decide to go into nurse practitioner school, that'll take another 2-3 years.

GL with finals. And your last semester. I would want to slack if I was that close to be done.

How come you switched? Being so close to graduation I'm forcing myself to go through with finishing this major. I'll figure out exactly what I want to do when I'm ready to start my masters.
