Sophie smell?

I know this might seem lame but I got Sophie today and have washed her several times trying to get rid of the rubber smell.  Any advise?  I can't stand the smell of her.

    I think that's just the nature of the type of rubber she's made with.  Don't think you can get rid of that smell...

    That's how she's supposed to smell. It talks about her smell being one of the things babies like about her right on the box.

    Lol I didn't even look at the box I was too excited when she came in the mail today.  He loves her though so I guess it doesn't matter to him how she smells.

    i didnt look at the box & didnt know that either! Evan doesnt like the taste of that rubber...so u doesnt like her =(
