I SUCK. (NBR)

I went to a focus group tonight, received a check for $250 for my participation, put the check in my wallet, walked to my car, drove home. Picked up my bag and realized it felt light. Wallet gone. Have since driven back to where focus group was and retraced my steps. Can't find it. Looked in my car under seats, etc. At police station now to file report. I NEVER carry cash, but I sold DS's graco sweetpeace swing the other day bc he didn't like it. So, I had $85 cash in my wallet from that. And the check for $250. And my credit cards and driver's license. But the most upsetting thing is that I had over $300 of gift certificates and store credit at buy buy baby. I was okay with losing everything else, but this is money for my son. So, now I want to cry but I'm trying to keep my big girl pants on and not cry. Also, my boobs are going to fall off because I haven't fed DS in over 4 hours. (He's at home with DH) Ugh, I'm so upset!!!

Thanks so much everybody!  The good news is, I found my wallet.  The embarrassing news is, it was at home in the diaper bag all along.  I'm going to have to go ahead and claim mommy brain/lactation brain on this one. oops.
