I need more good thoughts please

I'm sorry I'm never here and when I am, I need help, but I could use some more good thoughts for Cara.  She has had black poop since Monday.  Otherwise she seems okay so the pedi had me wait until today to see if anything changed, but it didn't.  So now she has an appt with a pedi GI on 5/10 because the pedi thinks she "likely has some GI bleeding."

I'm guessing that sounds scarier than it is since it's okay for her not to be seen for 1.5 weeks, but I'm freaking out.  Anyone have any experience with this?

She has been SO much better since she started the reflux meds!  And this week she has seemed fine so hopefully that means that if anything is going on, it's minor.

This might be a silly question, but is she allergic to milk?

Poor Girl.  I havne't been here much myself, so I did't know she was having issues.  Last I remember you were stopping dairy.  I hope she gets better.

Yes, she is.  I've been off dairy for 2 months and she was doing much better.  She also got reflux meds last week and that has helped a bunch as well.  But now this.

T&P for you guys.  My baby is going through the same kind of stuff.  I admire that you were able to BF...I stopped after a few weeks because he was having such a hard time.  He is now on super-hypoallergenic formula (Neocate) and Prevacid.  We went through the black poop, blood in stool, etc.  He's doing better now that all possible allergens are taken out of the picture.  I hope that all is well for you soon.  You might have to do some more elimination (like soy, etc.).
