Day 5 of fever

I brought him into the Pedi this morning. The fever ranges from 99.7 - 102.5. He is playing and drinking normally. His appetite has decreased. Pedi looked him over and said he seems to be getting his bottom cuspids and definitely has allergies (nasal congestion, shiners, eczema). She said the two stressors on his body may be causing the fever. He was put on Childrens Zyrtec.

I'm going out of my mind with worry and called back tonight. Anyones LO have a fever this long?

My DD always seems to get long fevers. We just got through four days--Friday through Monday with a stomach bug. We've had a few runs of five days; maybe a six? not sure. Five days is usually it. Hers are in the same temp range are your LOs temps. Motrin works super well for us. Maybe tomorrow will be the day your LO's fever is finally gone!
