I found this site for matching car seats with your car

I don't know how good or accurate it is and I'm going to do more research, but I thought it was interesting enough to share.

  • It is accurate.  Hope it helps you out.  We used it to pick our seat out.

  • I wouldn't go by that website. I have a 2009 Jeep grand cherokee and my car isn't even on the list (goes to 2007) so I picked 2007 for kicks and the car seat I got (Evenflo symphony) and it said no car seats match your criteria. haha I just installed this carseat and it fits perfectly.

  • hmm. I put in my car (Nissan Versa) and it came back with 4 options.  One of which was a Graco seat that the parent who submitted says is great in the center position.  Funny enough, the manual say not to put a car seat in the middle....  (The middle position is raised and narrow plus the seat back pulls down in the middle as an armrest).

I would look into the 3 models other parents listed as fitting well in the passenger position however!   I think it can be useful as a launch point but of course it is only useful if people have submitted data on your  particular car.
