my boyfriend and i had a fight, he said something mean to me so of course i broke down, i cried, for a while, about an hour...after i finally calmed down i started getting what i hope is BH contractions, they have been going on for quite some time now and sometimes painful, ive tried drinking water, laying down, standing, walking and they are still persisting..they are about, 15 min apart but still constant...has anyone experienced anything like this? maybe its my emotions and stress bringing on BH?
Re: can crying bring on contractions?
Stress can bring on BH and activity (using ab muscles to cry) can bring on BH too. I feel like an expert in BH because I had them constantly with DS (never ever went into "real" labor though) and with this baby (still no progress here either unfortunately). OB said to call when they are every 4 min apart and so painful that I can't talk through them.
Sorry you had a fight with your bf. I hope it all works out.
thank you, im sure it will work out soon..
It does for me. This trimester I've been so emotional and I've definitely noticed a connection between fights with my husband, (the stress plus the crying,) and increased BH. Drink some water, lay down and put something fun on tv, and know that tomorrow will probably be much better. Just stay hydrated and gentle on your body tonight.
