My DS does not want to be lying back in the bath tub anymore so he pulls his head forward and tries to get himself up. Which of course fails so after that he arches his back and lifts his bum with his feet to get over the hump his bum is on and then his back is on it.
The boy will not sit still anymore but he can't sit up yet. They seriously need to make an "in between" option for these bath tubs.
Anyone having this problem?
Re: Anyone having this problem with bath time?
I took our bathtub that transitions as they grow and place it on counter with an inch of water in it. Kaydence sits up and holds on on either side and I place my arm in front of her so she doesnt go forward. I wash her with my other hand. Its a little tough but she tolerates it and I know its only temporary.
I tried sitting him at the other side but that didn't work all that well. He either tried to straighten out his legs or arch his back again. Usually my DH gives him a bath because it's his bonding time but he had to do evenings the last two days for some work project.
Anyway he'll be back to his regular schedule tomorrow so I'll just let him deal with it! LOL.
DITTO! I just wear a sports bra when i give DD a bath b/c she splashes ALL over! Little wiggle worm
