So the doc said...

...that we can start DD on "solids" meaning rice cereal now if we'd like.  She can have it once a day.  Should I go ahead and start it or would you wait?  Doc said it is my decision but I'm not sure.  I do kinda want to try it but not sure why I feel hesitant...

Personally I want to wait until 6 months unless pedi suggests otherwise (DS is on the small side) and plan to skip cereal all together. But, many people introduce it at 4 months so if you want to, then you should go for it.

If Hayden seems interested in "real" food then give it a shot. I waited until Parker expressed interest (i.e. trying to climb into the middle of my food, reaching for it, drooling watching me eat and smacking his lips) If she isn't then its fine to wait until that happens.

We started at 4m1d because the pedi recommended it. Colin was just a bit underweight.

We started solids (cereal) after our 4mo wellness check, when Pedi said we could.  I was excited to see how he'd react to the spoon, so I didn't hesitate!  LOL
