mailing a letter with the address on the wrong side of the envelope

So I want to address the envelope on the side where it is sealed. Why, you ask? Because it's for Grandma Rhonda and Malia "pre-addressed" it for me. I can't cover up that! :)

Will this go thru the USPS or do I need to put this letter in another envelope and mail it like that?

I don't think it would make any difference as long and both addresses and postage are on the same side.

It'll be fine. Just put the stamp on the "wrong" side too.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the usps machines would "read" it properly.

You can even mail an inflated ball, just address and put a stamp on it and write a note.

As long as the stamp is on the side with the address TO you are OK.  If the return address is on the back it is no big deal.  People used to do this all the time in the good ole days.  If you want to be "sure" just write To: and From: above the correct addresses.
