Update on the Nest! PsIP!

 Last week I posted a picture of the nest that a Robin has built in my front porch light.  Over the course of 3 days she laid 3 eggs.  Today I patiently waited and crept around the back of my house so I could take these pictures.  I cant wait for them to hatch.  I googled and found out it take 11-14 days after the last egg was laid.  The last egg was laid on the 26th.  Here are the pictures I took.

I have a wagon right under the light on my porch and I stand on it to take pics.  At first I was using my cell phone just to look at what the inside looked like.  Im not tall enough to see inside so I thought I would take pics to see.  Then I found an egg in it.  Then 2 more.  Today I used DH Nikon D60.  Im amazed the pics turned out since I have NO idea what lense to use or how to use them.  I was just twisting and turning it and snapping pictures. 

The momma bird flies away when we open our front door.  That is when I sneak up and take pics of the inside.  I will now be leaving it alone until I hear baby birds!    Then more pics will follow.  I cant wait!

Very cool. For some reason I always assume eggs will be white. What a cool color they are.

I have now found my favorite shade of blue!  I keep staring at the eggs and amazed at the beautiful color they are!
