can anyone help? Questions about converting crib to bed??

I am considering buying  a used crib that is morigeaux-lepine, who is out of business. They do not have the conversion kit for this crib, but i will def want to convert it into a full bed.

are full-sized bed frames universal...do I need a specific conversion kit that matches this crib??

Does it come with the side railings?  You can use a regular full frame for it, but you need the side rails that is purchased seperately.

thanks for your help. would i need side rails if i don't attach a footboard?
