    As long as its not too cold and not thundering/lightening we go out and play in the rain.  I always played in the rain as a kid.  We (my brother and I) would get soaked floating things in puddles/streams in front of our house and then come in and take a warm bath (in our bathing suits) and then watch a movie.  This is one of my favorite memories of my brother.  We both LOVED rainy days.  

    I say throw a jacket on them and send them out!  :)
