She is still waking up every hour, but the terrors are not as bad. I don't know if it's the feet trick or the fact that I am going in and not stressing about it. I walk in, pick her up and tell her to think happy thoughts. She is fussy, but I am not letting it go on.
Tonight I took her pee during the first one and then ran her hands under cool water. For the second one I scooped her up and put her on the bathroom counter and ran her hands and feet under cool water. She started laughing! I gave her benedryl this time. She started with a dry cough and I just want her to get some sleep. The pedi thinks she may be having so breathing issues at night.
It beats the awful terror part, but it's still draining. I have had a couple of break downs. One being tonight. She was supposed to have an ENT appointment tomorrow, but her regular pedi came back from vacation and called me. He does not suggest she go to the ENT I have the appointment for. I guess they are a little surgery happy. So, I have more phone calls to make tomorrow.
We are also going to get her in with a child psychologist. Her pedi thinks it would be beneficial since she seems to be worrying so much lately.
I just can't seem to relax. I feel like there has to be more I can do for her!
I just can not imagine how draining this is for you, both physically and emotionally. You are a fabulous mom and your DD is going to recover that much more quickly because of all that you are doing for her.

Thanks Mel. I think I really needed to hear this tonight.
