I'm looking to get a video montior for DD's room and DS's room. I want a montior where I'll be able to hear sound in both rooms. I'm assuming I can't do this unless I have two separate receivers. Does anyone know of a handheld video montior that will let you do this? If you have a video monitor, which one do you have and do you have any issues hearing both of your LOs? Summer has a new Sleek and Secure handheld where you can view more than one room at once but I'm not sure if the sound comes through from both rooms as well.

The link below is the one we purchased. A little more pricey then your typical baby monitor but worth every penny. The picture is crystal clear. You can purchase additional cameras. And what is great is you can pair up to 4 cameras with the one base. It has a lot of great features. One being that you can set it to switch between viewing each camera every 3 seconds. The way we use it is that it alerts us and the screen flashes on when either child makes a sound or moves around. We have never experienced any interference and I can take my monitor over to my neighbors and still get a great picture.

We ordered 2 sets instead of just getting an additional camera and now I have a charging base upstairs and downstairs.
Since you have two sets of monitors I'm assuming you can put the camera in each child's room and set up the monitors so it views each child's room on both monitors?

I personally don't like our monitor. It's sooo static-y and we can't use just the sound portion alone (the static causes the light to go crazy making it look like the baby's crying). HOwever, everyone else we know that has this monitor loves it.

No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
You can set it to toggle back and forth between both rooms automatically. It does so every 5 seconds. I really like this monitor. You can also turn the video screen off if you want and have it do audio only (we do this at night).
My only complaint is that it makes a noise as it switches between the rooms that is a little loud/annoying at first. That could be because it does have to sit pretty close to my head but it took a little getting used to.
We bought the MobiCam with one cam and receiver and bought an extra cam.
i'm pretty sure that unless you buy two separate monitor/receiver sets, you won't be able to hear both rooms at once. we just bought the summer best view monitor for DS's toddler room and it is great. you can pan around the room if he gets out of bed, zoom in/out, etc. plus it is digital so we have no interference which is way better than our other summer video monitor.
walmart is currently selling this one online for $155. great price and if you've ever worked with summer before, their customer service is excellent.
