This may be a sign....

DS just had his birthday & party last weekend.  Ever since he has been talking about his next birthday.  Tonight he asked me if his next birthday is soon.  I proceeded to explain that Gabi and Eli have their party next, then Daddy, then Natalie's party, then Mommy, then his.

He says, "You know what your cake can be?!?!  A TV. Cuz you like TV.  And it will show the news cuz you always want to watch the news."

Nice.  Apparently I'm a huge TV junkie. um.....

  • LOL!!

I get up much earlier than DH almost every day.  Most days, DH is still sleeping or at least still resting in bed when DS wakes up, and I am fully showered etc..  Today, DS and I were in the car and I yawned and said, "man, I'm really tired today".  DS said "well Mommy, you should sleep longer, like Daddy!"  LOL!!!  That would be nice, for sure!!

  • Ha! At least it's the news though. I am guilty of this as well.

  • HA!  Don't feel bad, sometimes DS tells me that "it's okay, you can watch the news now, Momma.".  Because, yup, that's all I watch.  The news.

  • At least he said news...and not, like...Real Housewives or something!

  • That's pretty funny.  It could be worse though.  At least it was the news or he didn't announce it at a family gathering.

DS asked me today if I wanted to watch my "favorite special show LOST"  How did he know it was Tuesday?

  • Well...I must admit that while most of what I watch *is* the news.....I've also convinced him that The Insider, ET, etc are also the "news."  lol.

    But yes.....at least it's not Real Housewives or 16 & Preggo...lol.

And, DH is a Simpsons junkie.  Sunday while we were eating dinner late, the Simpsons came on and Natalie jumped down from the table and went running to the TV yelling, "Simson! Simson! Simson!"   yikes!
