Question for those who had Surgery for Ectopic

What type of anesthesia did your doctor use with you?  (General or spinal?) I didn't get a chance to ask my doctor before I left today and I am curious to hear what others experienced.

I had general and was really groggy the next day. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm here if you need someone to talk to. I know it helped me

General.  I also had my tube removed with the surgery.  I'm sorry for your loss.

General.  Pick up some cough drops, my throat was so scratchy for two days afterwards because of the breathing tube and coughing hurt my abdomen.

I couldn't do the cough drops cause for some reason it hurt but you can also use the throat spray

general. My throat was also scratchy, and coughing did hurt. but I found that if I held a pillow to my stomach tightly when I coughed, it helped alot. I'm sorry for your loss

General, and I recovered fairly quickly.  I also had my left tube removed.  I'm so sorry sweetie.  It will get better.  Give yourself time to grieve and heal.
