Hi everyone! My name is Sarah and I am currently living in San Antonio,TX but will be moving to Hastings. I know that Hastings is closer to Lincoln and Grand Island but I didn't see a local board for either of those.  I am from Nebraska City, but that is too far to travel for a doctor's appointment.  I am really looking for a midwife to finish up my prenatal care and be there for delivery in September.  I wouldn't mind going to Lincoln, but I have no idea about the area of Hastings/Grand Island other than I went to the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island and I fell in love with Jimmy John's there.  So, if anyone has any information or suggestions I would really appreciate it.  Thank you!

    Welcome. Im due Sept 24 so we're not that far apart. I know Lincoln a bit better than Hastings or GI but Im sure there's something there for you :)

    Hello and welcome!! Check out Nebraska Friends of Midwives.  I think they have information on all the midwives in NE (there are only 16 CNM so its not a lot to keep track of!)  If you are looking for a homebirth midwife you'll have to look around a bit more.  I know of a few in the Omaha are but I am not sure if they travel to Hastings, but they might know a midwife who does.  Feel free to message me about it.
