I should wear a referee uniform...

C is now crawling and is getting into everything.  R is not dealing well with having to share the toys (even the infant toys) now and it's just ugly around here.

How do you/did you deal?  I feel like all I do all day long is break up fights about everything....toys, Cheerio's, spoons.  It's ridiculous.  Not to mention this obnoxious PT regression.

(In all fairness, we did just move out of state and it's been a stressful month for her, so I'm trying to be understanding.  But, it seems to be getting worse, not better)

  • duct tape.  ;-)

It gets better, I promise.  I drank a little, take paxil, and used the tv and pack & play more than I'd care to admit.

  • Loading the player...
  • I'm thinking of buying a whistle.

Seriously, as they get older you can kinda let them work it out for themselves. For now, you can teach your DD#1 techniques to take toys from the baby without a fight.  At that age, the little one can usually be dustracted with another toy relatively often.  For your DD#1, work on "turns".  Set a timer and DD#2 gets it for 2 minutes and then it's DD#1's turn...or vice versa where she gets it first.

Other than that, I agree with Kori - lots of booze, more TV than you'd like and coveted snacks as bribes...whatever you need to do to get through the day.

  • I feel like I should wear a maid's uniform. :(

It gets better.  Maybe you can have her pick out some toys that are off limits to the baby and then discuss that the other toys are to be shared? I hope it gets better quickly for you!
