Does anyone use this? Does it help your LO sleep? I bought one before DS was born, but haven't used it because it just seems cruel - like I'm putting him in a straight jacket. But he keeps flailing in his sleep and it's waking him up, so I'm thinking of trying it.

Re: Miracle Blanket?
We have been using it since LO was 3 weeks old. I put her in either a long sleeved onsie or a gown and then lay her on my bed to wrap her up. She smiles at me the whole time. Then I give her a kiss and put her in her bassinet. She is asleep within 5 minutes.
She knows that when she is wrapped up it is bed time.
Do you use it for naps too, or just at night?

Definitely works. My DD (now 4) needed to be swaddled a lot (she was a generally unhappy baby) so we were very good at swaddling with a blanket. My new DS, though is a total houdini and could break out of our tight swaddles. He can't get out of the miracle blanket and it really helps him get a good stretch of sleep.
I don't use it for naps, though.
Honestly, I was so psyched about the miracle blanket, and I absolutely hate it:( LO is way too small for it, and she breaks out of it easily, I HIGHLY recommend the ulitmate swaddle blanket. You can only get them at Nordstrom I think, but you can order online and they are only 25 dollars. They are the only blankets large enough to create a perfect swaddle. Just don't put it in the dryer b/c it will shrink!
Just night time. She can nap anywhere. It is part of her nighttime routine.
