I have a short list, but I am looking for new ideas for when DH and I start discussing names. I tend to lean toward longer names since the boys have longer names. I need both genders. Thanks!
It's funny you guys mention Charlotte. That is my #1, but DH isn't sold. I also have Caroline, Adeline and Julianne (so eclaires you are right on track with my taste). I am hoping another name pops up that I love so that I can get DH to agree easily. For boys the only name I have right now is Nicholas. I don't love it but it works-I am hoping to find some more options for boys.
DH's fav girl name is Brendalyn (is that even a name? I feel like he made it up) so we are clearly on opposite ends of the naming game.
That sounds like my husband. He says names I like, like Emmeline for example, are made up but wants to name our baby, if a boy, Blackford? ON CRACK. I think Blackford is the made up name there.
He said he only likes two names for a girl - Elizabeth and Scarlett. Elizabeth was NOT happening, since it's my name, and I had wanted to use Scarlett as a middle name, so it was an easy-ish compromise.
I loooooooooove Julianne! And Adeline and Caroline. Definitely similar taste. I also really like Juliet. Oh and a friend of mine named her little girl Gillian which I think is adorable, too.

LOL at Blackford. I swear I don't know what they are thinking! He has a comment for everything I come up with. I love the names you choose. Hopefully DH and I will get on the same page or I am just going to wait until delivery and then I bet I will win the discussion.
And I just was watching House Hunters International last night and I'm guessing there daughter's name was Charlotte....they were calling her Lottie. It was freaking adorable (esp. with their accent).
Re: Anyone want to give me some name suggestions?
Our boy list was:
Drew
Parker
Jackson
Brandon
Our girl list was:
Analeigh
Madelyn
{Ava 5.16.06} {Ella 12.29.07} {Drew 2.9.10}
I like Charlotte for a girl
We are done, but if we ever had another baby my list (not necessarily DH's) is:
Boys: Thomas, Seth, Nathaniel, Graham
Girls: Molly, Allison, Elizabeth, Georgia
Ok, my girl list is probably really unhelpful because they are all pretty old fashioned.
Matilda, Eloise, Agnes, Caroline, Jane, Amelia, Eleanor, Charlotte
our girl name: Scarlett Maeve
Boy list:
Robert, Thomas, Sullivan, Declan, Finnian
