We are having to supplement my breast milk with formula. If the baby is full and does not latch on to the formula bottle is it OK to put the warmed up bottle into the fridge for later on to be re-warmed?
You cant put it back in the fridge and then warm it later but you can leave it out for 2hrs until it then has gone bad in case LO will take it in an hour or 2.
I agree with the 1 hour thing... if you're wasting a lot just put less in the bottle to start and add more as needed. Think about it - would you warm up a milk based drink for yourself, drink some, let it sit out for an hour or so, then put it back in the fridge and rewarm it later? No, it's way too likely to go bad or get bacteria.
