Hi lovely ladies,
The two cycles I've charted, I've noticed O pain at 1 DPO. Just wondering if anyone else experiences O pain the day after ovulation. I'm pretty sure I've read that you can have O pain even after you've ovulated but am curious as to what you ladies have experienced.
Thanks!?
Re: Ovulation Pain at 1 DPO
I notice cramps and twinges before O and all through the 2WW, but I can never tell if they are plain old cramps or O pain. I think if it was 1 DPO, it wouldn't be O pain...? Maybe post-O cramping that would be attributed to something else?
Hope this makes sense...I'm on glass #3 of pinot grigio....
LOL! I get what you're saying! Thanks Magnolia. I had the thought today that perhaps I was 1 day short of sexin' it up since I had my O pain the day after I ovulated but I think it could just be that I'm feeling the pain then and not actually ovulating a day later than I thought.?
Either way, enjoy your pinot lady!?

I'll revisit this tomorrow and maybe it will make more sense!!
Are you just testing once a day, in the AM? If so, it is possible that you missed your surge. Some ladies get positives for several days, but I have found that I only get one positive OPK, the day of ovulation (and I test twice a day). So yes, it is possible that you missed your surge. But keep testing. And you might want to consider testing sometime in the afternoon as well. GL!
re: the OP, I get O pain the day before, day of and day after O.
I do only test in the morning...I never thought to do it twice a day, but that is a good idea! I remember the last time we were trying, I had gotten a positive in the morning and for some reason I decided to test again when I got home from work and it was negative so that's why I wasn't sure how long the surge can be detected. Thanks!!!
